You can travel cheaply through Germany by using rail passes and special offers. Three or more people traveling with a car can be cheaper per kilometre than travel by train.
If you use cheap accommodation, prepare your own food and make good use of free entrance offers for sightseeing etc. you can manage with less than 50 Euros a day. If you include museum entrance fees and eat in restaurants you will have to calculate up to 100 Euros a day. And here are some price guidelines.
