Taxis abound. Most of the drivers of the over thirteen hundred beige vehicles excell in their professionalism, knowledge, politeness and friendliness. As in other cities, all nationalities are to be found behind the wheel so driving styles vary accordingly. Most cabbies are more than ready to hold a conversation.
Hailing a cab is not standard practise here. The cabs tend to wait patiently in line and take their turn at serving the next customer - but you can always give it a try anyway.
