So you have no idea what to eat on Sunday? May we suggest, a Black Angus Entrecôte with soft melting tomato risotto with chanterelles followed by a poached – yes poached not baked! – chocolate cake with a fruity passion fruit sherbet complimented by vanilla oil caviar?

Admittedly, the author of this article will have to look up the last part of the extravagant menue proposal in a kitchen digest. Vanilla oil caviar? Interesting! It might tickle your taste buds.

But the best part is yet to come; you can leave your apron where it is and let professionals take care of this foodie Sunday delight.

Well-known Kings of the Kitchen, among them Johann Lafer (The Stromburg, Stromberg) and Jean-Claude Bourgueil (The Schiffchen, Düsseldorf) will take it into their hands to surprise the gourmet pilgrims to Kaiserswerth yet again. Need we mention that your gourmet experiences can be enriched by wine tastings? Many renowned vintners will be part of the event.

So here it is, once again, the Weinblütenfest at Kaiserswerther Markt in Dusseldorf, 13 June 2010 from 12 pm to 8 pm.

On a note, a spontaneous Google search did not clear up the mystery of vanilla oil caviar either. So please do tell us your experience.
