A special day for pooches and full-sized dogs is 27 June 2010. On that day Dusseldorf celebrates its annual Dog Day on the racing court Grafenberg.
Take your dog (with vaccination records – a rabies shot is mandatory!) and check out the many stands and their offerings such as dog food, books, toys and accessories. If you want to learn more about dog psychology, dog physiology, holistic therapies, vets, dog sitting, breeding and many things more, you are sure to receive tons of information.
Whilst different activities and shows take turns throughout the day, you and your dog will get the chance of showing sporting spirit yourself if you decide to take part in the 2 km run from 11 am to 12 pm. Different ages and breeds may enter the competition and win a small award in their category. Ask at the ‘Menschen Tiere Werte e.V.’ stand for details. The run will be the first event of the day.
Last but not least, we are sure that especially your dog will be interested in the special offer of exchanging your entrance ticket for a treat at the ‘Fressnapf’ stand…
