Over the weekend 18 to 20 June 2010, the skies will be filled with this colourful and spectacular feast for the eyes. Forty hot air balloons will ascend at 5.00am on Saturday and 6.30pm and 10.00pm on both Friday and Saturday.
Various companies have sponsored the balloons, if you too wish to participate and have a place in one of the balloons the cost is 180€. Fill in the online application form under mitfahren on the website below.
The night flights will be especially beautiful when the illuminated balloons will appear quite magical as they wait from their starting points at the Airfield Woolfsaap Grafenberg and on the banks of the Rhine at the Rheinwiesen and the rise into the heavens and fly up, up and away.
