The Deutsche Oper am Rhein is a theatrical collaboration of the cities of Dusseldorf and Duisburg. Germany’s biggest opera ensemble offers impressive operas, operettas, ballet and musicals.
Besides varying performances like La traviata, Faust or The Marriage of Figaro for the adult audience the so-called "young opera" is a project specialised for children. These theatrical-educational plays can be held by appointment each season.
The Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf is situated close to Heinrich-Heine-Alle U-Bahn station and has been completely renovated and technically updated in 2007.
