The next “Long Night of Museums” will take place in Düsseldorf on 8 May 2010. The city has announced that 37 art galleries and museums will be open to visitors from 7pm to 2am.
Exhibitions will include paintings, sculptures, photography, architecture, design, music, natural history, film and video installations. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in various activities, such as guided tours, workshops, performances and film projects.
This year's “Night of Museums” will be held under the motto KunstZeit, ArtTime.
For the first time the sate parliament will be open to showcase an exhibition about the Russian humanist Lev Kopelev.
Brochures and tickets costing 12 EUR will be available from all booking offices and venues from Easter onwards.
