Interested in scientific exchange or in search of a financing possibility for a scientific research project? The Nordrheinwestfälische Akademie der Wissenschaften might help. This institution has the purpose to open, protect and to visualise the German tradition in general.
The academy is promoted by public means and has several tasks such as scientific exchange of ideas, scientific research as well as the care of relations with scientific facilities. In addition it is divided into three classes: humanities, natural sciences and engineer's sciences and economics. Here, the real work is done, namely carrying out scientific projects, consultation, scientific publications and much more.
