Christ Church is an Anglican Chaplaincy serving the International English speaking community of Düsseldorf and the Rheinland. It is a member of the Diocese in Europe and under the patronage of the oldest UK evangelical society, The Church Society.
Christ Church is well known for its hospitable approach to guests and visitors. It welcomes a wide range of people from many nationalities and who are short term or more permanent residents. The main Sunday service is at 11am and is in a fairly contemporary style with a variety of music in worship. Relevant Bible preaching and teaching for adults is given in the service with separate Bible-based materials and activities in the church facilities by experienced leaders for children and youth.
Refreshments in the church hall follow every service with an ideal opportunity for social fellowship. There are also available various displays of information on the work of the church, international and local. An all-age family service on the first Sunday of every month is followed by a bring and share lunch. Other activities include home-groups, a weekly prayer meeting, singing group and planning has begun for a Christianity Explored enquiry course. Information regarding Thanksgivings, Baptisms, weddings, funerals and the hire of the various building facilities should be made directly to the chaplain by post.
